"Mineral Potential -Indian Reserve Lands" is a report that reviews and records all available material on the geology, geophysics, geochemistry, economic geology, and past or existing mineral operations for each First Nation reserve in Canada, and its surrounding area. The full report comprises forty-five volumes including approximately 18,000 pages and 10,000 maps and is sub-divided and summarized by province. The regional summaries provide AANDC regional managers and staff with an analysis of the data contained in the mineral inventory to assist them in working with First Nation Bands in the preparation and planning of mineral-based economic activity following the distribution of the report.
