Asset Condition Reporting System Projects Annual Report - Form Instructions

DCI Number/Fiscal Year: 460649 (2017-2018)

Purpose: As part of the three-year Asset Condition Reporting System inspections, Asset Condition Reporting System projects protect the health and safety of asset users and either prolong the life or maintain the operation of the assets. The purpose of this report is to follow up on these important tasks.

Reporting Period: For the previous fiscal year ending March 31.
Exception(s): BC – For project funding in current year.

Due Date: May 31 annually.
Exception(s):
AT – March 30. Communities that are scheduled to complete the Triennial Asset Condition Reporting System Inspection are not required to complete the annual Asset Condition Reporting System Projects report.
BC – January 15 each year. This report is required only from First Nations that have completed a triennial Asset Condition Reporting System Inspection cycle.
ON – October 15, and for certain First Nations, this process is triennial.
Communities that are scheduled to complete the Triennial Asset Condition Reporting System Inspection are not required to complete the annual Asset Condition Reporting System Projects report.

Field Definitions: The information in the grayed out fields comes from the Integrated Capital Management System. The Integrated Capital Management System and INAC Regions will provide First Nations with a pre-populated Excel Workbook for the Asset Condition Reporting System Projects Report.

Field Definition
Region Code Identify the regional office.
Band Name The official and legal name of the band.
Band Number The number assigned to the band by INAC.
Site Name The legal name of the site or reserve.
Site Number The number assigned to the site by INAC.
Asset Number The asset number associated with the Asset Condition Reporting System project.
Asset Extension Number The asset extension number associated with the Asset Condition Reporting System project.
Asset Condition Reporting System Project Number The Asset Condition Reporting System project number.
Project Description The description of the Asset Condition Reporting System project as it appears in the system.
Completion Status The status of the project: 0 - Outstanding 1 - Completed 2 - Cancelled
Date of Completion/Cancellation The date in which the project was completed or cancelled in the format of YYYY-MM-DD.
Remarks Any remarks relating specifically to the updated condition of the particular asset or assets being reported on.
