Call for Proposals: First Nation Student Success Program 2016-2017

The Government of Canada is committed to investing in First Nations education to ensure that First Nations children on-reserve receive a quality education, while respecting the principle of First Nations control of First Nations education.

Funding is provided through Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada’s First Nation Student Success Program (FNSSP). Before submitting a proposal, please review all of the criteria carefully to ensure eligibility.

The 2016-2017 call for proposals to support First Nation student education activities is now closed. The deadline to submit a proposal under FNSSP, including early literacy activities, was April 4, 2016, at midnight Eastern Time (ET).

The 2016-2017 call for proposals is for:

Applications to the First Nation Student Success Program, including early literacy must support activities between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2018.

In the First Nation Student Success Program, priority will be given to proposals that provide significant economies of scale. Applications will need to clearly demonstrate a sharing of knowledge, resources and best practices.
