Figure 1 illustrates the top three levels of the organizational chart of the Regional Operations Sector, with a focus on National Headquarters. A dotted line surrounds the organizational components that comprise Regional Operations, National Headquarters. For the top two levels of the organization, each position (or box) in the chart includes the following three pieces of information are provided: the position title, the total number of positions under the given position and the total number of full-time equivalents (FTEs) filling positions under the given position. For the third-level of the organization chart, only the position title is provided.
The Regional Operations Sector is led by the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister (SADM), under whom there are a total of 146 positions and 136 FTEs.
The second level of the chart depicts the four direct reports of the SADM, Regional Operations: the Director General (DG), Community Infrastructure, under whom there are a total of 77 positions and 71 FTEs; the DG, Governance, under whom there are a total of 30 positions and 38 FTEs; the DG, Sector Operations, under whom there are a total of 32 positions and 19 FTES; and the South of 60 Regional Offices, whose leads (Regional Directors General), positions and FTEs are not reflected in this chart.
The third level of the chart depicts director-level reports of the Regional Operations Sector. The DG, Community Infrastructure has the following four director-level reports: the Director, Planning, Monitoring and Reporting; the Director, Engineering and Technical Services; the Senior Director, Innovation and Major Policy Transformation; and, the Director, Program Design and Regional Partnerships.
Also at the third level of the chart, reporting to the DG, Governance are the following four director-level positions: the Director, Governance Policy; the Director, Professional and Institutional Development; the Director, Urban Aboriginal Strategy; and, the Director, Band Governance.
Finally, reporting to the DG, Sector Operations are the following three director/manager-level positions: the Director, Emergency and Incident Management; the Director, Planning and Business Integration; and, the Manager, Business Management Unit.
