Plane is loaded with high efficiency wood stoves and composting toilets headed to Attawapiskat First Nation. These essential supplies have been provided by the Government of Canada and were identified by the community as urgent. "This is a result of the ongoing collaboration between Aboriginal Affairs, Emergency Management Ontario and the Canadian Red Cross to deliver supplies. Joint efforts are now underway to retrofit the community's Healing Lodge and ATCO trailers," said the Honourable John Duncan, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development.
