Abstract: This paper examines the Community Well-Being of Métis Census Subdivisions in Canada. Theses communities are identified based upon population size, geographic location and change over 1991 to 2001 Census years. This is an initial attempt at analyzing Métis communities in a similar fashion that other aboriginal communities in Canada have. It compares the educational levels, labour levels, income and housing quality and quantity levels.
