Food Mail Video

To reach isolated communities of the North, most food must travel up to 3,500 kilometres via costly air transportation. The food mail program subsidizes the high cost of sending nutritious, perishable food to these remote communities so that more people can afford to eat what they need to maintain a balanced diet.  This is the story of the food mail program.
