Funding

In support of its mandate and responsibilities, the Department of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) provides several types of funding to environment and natural resource programs, services and initiatives.

1) Adaptation Projects
Funding is available for adaptation projects in Aboriginal and northern communities to help communities adapt to the impacts of climate change.
