One of the strategic objectives of the department aims at increasing the representativeness of Aboriginal peoples working within the department throught the adoption of a National recruitment strategy. As one of the means to achieve this goal, AANDC has in place regional inventories for Aboriginal job seekers.
The Inventories facilitate the search for Aboriginal candidates who have the essential qualifications to fill positions. AANDC encourages managers who are responsible for hiring to consult the Inventory in their region.
The Aboriginal candidates who wish to send their résumé can consult the Regional Aboriginal candidates Inventory Contact List to find a contact in their region.
