What We Offer

As a member of the AANDC family, your opportunities for achievement, change, and career growth are substantial.

Our commitment to helping our people achieve their personal and professional goals is at the forefront of everything we do.

We invite you to see how our career opportunities can help you achieve the things you want most in life.

As students or recent graduates, you can start your career and make a difference.

If you are an experienced professional or a government employee, you can take your career to a new level. Your best is yet to come.

Career Development Programs are utilized by the department to maximize the skills and experiences of our employees.  These programs are accessible on a limited basis, but prove to be critical in developing the future leaders of the organization. The Interchange Canada Program allows federal employees to work up to two years in other sectors of the Canadian economy. The Career Assignment Program identifies individuals who have management potential, giving them the experience they need at pre-executive levels. Our Management Trainee Program offers talented graduates and employees the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.

We have an Aboriginal Candidates Inventory for each region, so that managers can find the best local Aboriginal candidates.

The benefits of working at AANDC are more than just the joy of work you love. Excellent medical and dental plans, flexible hours, and professional development are just a few of the perks.
