We can help protect the estate of your loved one and provide you with the information that you need.

Our questions will be simple.

Did the deceased live on reserve?

AANDC deals with the estates of registered (or those entitled to be registered) Indians who were living on reserve at the time of death.

Did the deceased have a Will?

The deceased may have left a Will with a lawyer's office, in a safety deposit box or with family or a trusted friend.

Who are the deceased's family members?

We will ask you the names and addresses of the deceased's family members.

Do you have the deceased's death certificate?

A death certificate is needed to begin settling the estate.

Once you have provided the above information, we will send out all the necessary forms to be completed by the family members, and appoint an administrator or executor to settle your loved one's estate.
