Infrastructure Development in Your Community

Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) assists all First Nations with the planning and development of community infrastructure. This supports First Nations in their efforts to establish community health and safety standards comparable to those of neighbouring off-reserve jurisdictions. The degree of assistance that AANDC British Columbia (BC) Region may provide is dependent on the type of improvement proposed (e.g. roads, schools, water systems etc.).

For information on the availability of financial assistance that may be provided for specific infrastructure categories, we invite you to consult AANDC's Level of Service Standard (LOSS) guidelines which provides a list of available programs and eligibility requirements.

For further information, please contact AANDC BC Region main reception and ask to speak to a representative in Community Infrastructure.
