This section contains programs and services of interest to Aboriginal people in the Manitoba Region. Indian Registration, Status and Status Cards will provide information on how to register for Indian Status. Status Indians are entitled to a wide range of programs and services offered by federal agencies, provincial governments and even the private sector. Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) also provides Economic Development Programs to promote the growth of a strong Aboriginal sector in Canada. Many other government departments deliver programs and services specific only to Aboriginal people.
