on June 21st…
share in the celebration…
It's a celebration of all our cultures, all the nations coming together.
To celebrate the on-going legacy of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis people.
It means a lot to me, that all of Canada is able to celebrate along with us.
National Aboriginal Day means a lot to me because it's celebrating our culture.
It's a day full of pride.
National Aboriginal Day is definitely a day of pride and joy. Ever since I was a child on our reserve we celebrated the day with a parade and we danced and sang, so it's definitely a good day to enjoy and be proud of being Aboriginal.
National Aboriginal Day to me means that it's an important recognition on a national level of the contribution of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people to the history of the past, present and future of Canada.
It is a time for celebration and a time to gather for all Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples.
National Aboriginal Day is around the time of St. Jean Baptise and Canada Day which are kind of celebrations of culture and I think it's important that Aboriginal culture is celebrated just as openly.
National Aboriginal Day means to me a time of celebration and getting together with other nations and learning about different ways of life.
National Aboriginal Day means a lot to me because it's celebrating our culture our land our people. It's celebrating our achievements as well as celebrating our day with all Canadians abroad.
National Aboriginal Day means to me an opportunity for Canada, no matter what culture you are to get involved in Aboriginal culture and to understand where we've come from in the past what we're doing in the present and where we're going in the future and what a large part of Canada that we are.
I'm a Métis and for me it's just a matter for me to get in touch with my Metis culture and just a chance of getting to know a little bit more about the history.
In Canada, National Aboriginal Day means that our customs and traditions will become better known by Canadians.
National Aboriginal Day means being able to celebrate my culture with friends and family and also instilling pride in the youth and generations to come.
