Indian and Northern Affairs Canada investments in First Nations Water and Wastewater infrastructure (April 1, 2006 - March 31, 2010)

This image is a bar chart showing Indian and Northern Affairs Canada Investments in First Nations Water and Wastewater Infrastructure (April 1, 2006 – March 31, 2010).

The left hand side of the chart shows Millions of dollars, starting at 0 at the bottom and then rising in increments of 50 to $400 million. The bottom of the chart includes years for each corresponding bar: 2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009-2010.

The first three bars extend to the $300 million range. There is a slight rise in the 2008‑2009 bar and the 2009-2010 bar is above $350 million. Each bar includes a color segment that depicts what was spent in each region including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada and the Yukon. The chart does not show enough detail to determine exact amounts (more detailed information for each region is provided in following pages of the deck). However, it shows that the amount spent in most regions is fairly consistent for the first three years. In the final year, 2009-2010, spending appeared to increase noticeably in all regions except Atlantic Canada, Alberta and Manitoba.
